I am trying new things so I wrote a bit of my story

An Indian-American teenager finds out that, beneath the veneer of culture, feelings of loss, grief, and sorrow are the same the world over. When his school friend's father dies, he has to formally visit his friend to offer support. At the house of the bereavement, he finds himself comparing this event to his grandfather's funeral that he attended in India. Everything is very different in the US, being far more civilized as opposed to the raw emotions and rituals of an Indian funeral. But when the facade of culture cracks, he sees that there is really no difference in the impact of death on family and loved ones.

the story is about the time when babe counted his last minutes on earth

After (18 year old) Mia's father dies, her mother gets a letter, stating that he owned a mansion in Wolves Creek. A city, neither her or her sibling have ever heard of. When they go there, to move in. Scary events start taking place. The attic door is left open, after Mia made sure to close it. She hears her closet door creek open. Mia's brother (Jay) says he heard foot steps outside his door, even though no one was awake. Sophia, her sister, says she felt movement under her bed. They decide to figure out what has been terrorizing them the past few weeks.
