The fun and laughter associated with a fun-fair in the village. Again, this was a poem I wrote for the LinkedIn thread 'A Poetry Game.' Although the ending word of the previous poem was 'fare' (as in, a bus fare or ticket), I immediately started thinking of a village fete, and changed the spelling so that the word wasn't incorrectly spelt within the context of my poem.
