Duchess Demon, or Lilith Trueblood, is one of these robots. *** "Ali, you- show me your wrists." I keep my arms folded firmly. Aerin hisses. "Show. Me." Again, I keep my arms folded. "If you're not going to willfully show your wrists, I'll just have to make you, Lightvale." Aerin spits, her frustration showing. At that point, I turn and retreat to the bedroom. I duck under the bed, only just being able to fit. "Ali, come on! I know you're in there! I'm just concerned for you, that's it!"

This is just a short scene from Alpha, book six in the Shifters Series by Rachel Vincent. I do not claim any of the series as mine. I just like writing some of the scenes in different POVs and this one is in Marc's. Don't post hate, if you don't like it, you don't like it. If you do, great.
