"Newt stood there for a moment barley moving. I'm not even sure he breathed. But then, he stepped close to me and tentatively wrapped his arms around me. The feeling of warmth that surrounded me in that moment was amazing. I pressed my cheek to his chest and wrapped my arms around his slim waist. The soft fabric of his waist coat, coupled with the warmth from his body made it feel like I was in a soft bed. I sobbed into his shoulder and felt him relax more into the hug. He even lifted his hand to my head to stroke my hair. "I'm sorry that is happening to you," he whispered in my ear." ------------ Ruth Walker was a normal American girl, who had lived her whole life in New York. Despite that, nothing out of the ordinary had ever happened to her. But what happens when a man in a blue coat with a weather beaten case bumps into her? The No-Maj town of Hatch, Illinois, has a population of 3,247. Soon to be 3,248. Unbeknownst to the occupants of this little town, their home is situated just a mile away from one of the largest wizard communities outside of the big cities. As a result, weird goings on tend to be the norm around Hatch. So it's only natural that they don't suspect a thing when a British girl by the name of Sephira Grey turns up. Sephira arrives in a world very different to the one she is running from. Views regarding No-Maj's have barely changed since the early 1900's, and relations between them and wizards are still forbidden. MACUSA enforce laws that seem ancient compared to the ideals of the Ministry of Magic. Magic is so secret it may as well not exist outside of the hidden communities that practice it. And for Hatch, Il, this has been the case. Until now. Sephira becomes involved in both Muggle and magical affairs far beyond her expectations. Before she knows it, she is embroiled in a struggle that could change her world - and the No-Maj world - forever as she tries to unlock the new magical society she has become a part of.

In which Newton Scamander, a boy with messy hair and a fascination for magical beasts, bumps into a girl with a camera and a fascination for plants and photography. - {J.K Rowling owns all the characters except for Hazel, and the people that Hazel are related to.}

Nobody saw her. But she was there. Always there. She was alive and well. But nobody saw her. Metaphorically of course. But she was there. Even her best friend couldn't see her. He couldn't remember her. But she was there. Always. All characters belong to J.K Rowling other than Elise and some other characters that I might add.

"Does Leta Lestrange like to read?" asked the woman tentatively, tilting her head ever so slightly and staring at the man before her with such an intent air that he could not bear to avert his eyes any further. How I see Newt and Tina's tender last scene at the end of FBAWTFT in writing.
