What if Snow White didn't find the dwarfs first? Aurelia Locks is the Bard Apprentice of her kingdom. She is set to lead her people once the current Bard steps down. Problem is that their is an unfriendly rivalry with the neighboring kingdom and to restore peace, Aurelia is betrothed to the prince of that kingdom. But once the prince goes missing and her best friend Princess Snow White goes missing as well, Aurelia is tasked with finding them and restoring the kingdoms. However Aurelia, now going by her alias 'Goldilocks', finds herself in a house with seven dwarfs and the discovery that their may be more princes she has to rescue. But a sinister evil doesn't want her to find the missing royals and will do whatever it takes to sabotage the mission.

Gwendolyn "Red" hood has been suffering under a familial werewolf curse her whole life, making it stressful. Even more so with her dad not around to help her. She trusts no one except for her family, and her Rabbit, David. She had one friend in the Princess of Whiteburg, until she married the leader of the F7, whom she despises. Although this is hard when her mother is a matchmaker and is almost always setting her up with any available young man. Plus, there is also her mom's current beau, the honorable mayor, who is constantly around. It changes when she help when a runs into a obnoxious, macho, and cocky dwarf with green skin named Arthur who is constantly flirting with her, and who looks kind of like the missing crown prince and member of the group she hates so much. Arthur Pendragon, second in command of the F7, descendant of the first Arthur, has always been lucky. However, that all changed when after that fateful day when he was cursed into a green dwarf and to break it he needs a kiss from the most beautiful woman of all. He thought he found her a year ago but she was not who he though she was. So his quest continues and this time he is on his own. When he comes upon a lovely hooded young maiden whose name just happens to also be "Red" and doesn't faint at the sight of him, he believes this could the one to free him from his spell. The only problem is that refuses to get close to anyone and she doesn't seem to be falling for his charm. However, these two will have lot more to worry about when a person is found dead and rumors of a werewolf start spreading around. So with the other's help the two will have to trust and depend on the other as they search for the fairy queen to remove this curse before Red gets suspected. Along the way sparks will fly between them in this tale about letting down your walls.

Can he be the one to help her, especially since he looks like the one man who had broke her heart long ago? Jack Beaudilaire should be living a life of luxury. Instead he's cursed as a hideous creature. What's even worse while traveling on a ship he runs into a assassin hired to kill him and is nearly thrown overboard. Luckily, he gets rescued by a dragon and ends up at the manor of a lord who will grant him a kiss from his beautiful daughter, the only thing to break his curse . All he had to do is bring him a witch who has the head of a fish. Not a problem for a brave prince and F7 member. He just has to pretend to aid her in his cousin's bridal contest to gain her trust to do so. However, as he gets to know her he finds that the girl is not the monster she appears to be. Can these two break their curses in this retelling of Swan Lake with hints of the little mermaid full of magic, humor, and romance.

AUTHORS NOTE (edited): As this was written and finished before I learned about ableism towards little people in the original Snow White story thus properly introducing me to these issues, there might be some things in this fic that can read as ableist towards little people (or at least as ignorant). This was of course not my intent, but is still something I feel should be acknowledged, and apologised for. On some level I do not know if I'm just overthinking it, or reaching (I tend to do those things sometimes), but I still don't think I could go on without saying something, especially as this fanfic is supposed to in part comment on and go against ableism.
