Fearlings Stories

Oneshot/arc book, Jack-centric. Conflicting ships included, most of the chapters are related unless stated. I hope you like it and I hope it's different than the rest. Concrit is appreciated with open arms, but no flames. Please ask before taking my original ideas (I don't usually have a problem just ask and give inspiration credit). I have permission to use another oneshot as inspiration, don't freak/accuse me of stealing. Credit will be given where credit is due, and I'll ask if your story inspires me before writing anything if my muse strikes (she has the worst timing, I swear...). This is my first (real) oneshot book. No yaoi, yes OCs, no "New Guardian" OCs. Characters can be OOC by request. From Family-like!Guardians to Human!Rainbow Snowcone. Haven Avery and Matt Sloan have gone many years of their lives being haunted by Fearlings, or, as they know them as, "shadow ghost people" or "demons." They don't know why they're targeted, but they don't really care. They're much more concerned with wishing for them to stop. However, once they start finding strange things after banding together, their world becomes more dangerous as they delve into the mysteries that dictate their lives. Names on a cave wall. A strange "broken compass." Another person like them. *Wattpad Exclusive. Only on here, no other writing website* (Note 7-26-15 : I accidentally unpublished this. Never unpublished stuff, so I have to republish the chapters. Sorry for the mess-up.) 'There will be nothing but fear and darkness. And me.' Pitch got what he wanted. Darkness. The guardians missing, children not believing, no wonder, or hope. Memories or dreams or fun. Darkness and fear. The world has gone dark. Everything good missing, only, there's one who does believe. No matter how bad Pitch tries. Now, they're the only thing that might stop Pitch, even if the Guardians do come back, they're too weak. Its up to the mortal teen to help save the Guardians, and the world.

It's been over a year since the battle of good and evil, over a year of regaining belief in the guardians has grown stronger then ever some think to strong to good. after a year the balance tips to far to the good side kid's are starting to get hurt more frequently, adults not paying enough attention to their children and the guardians don't know what's wrong. more lights go out but not because the children stopped believing but because they have died much to earlier in their lives. North is going to hold a meeting at the next full moon to talk to the man in the moon to figure out what to do but sadly that's a months time from now. a full month they will have to wait but until then their going to try and figure it out by themselves until then they can do nothing about it which lays heavily on their hearts especially a certain guardian of fun. After over a year he finally gets out he's finally free from his own nightmare's and he'll get his revenge on the guardians but he can barely sense the fear in the world where did it all go? this has never happened before not while he was gone, he needs to regain his strength cause fear to the world and he smirks knowing just who to start with first. he tries to go through the shadows but it fails he tries again in frustration has he gotten this weak in just a short amount of time? he was never this weak before he can't feel the shadows that are wrapped around himself he looks at himself and sees theirs indeed no shadows on himself. the shadow sleeves he wore were gone leaving the original black robe he wore. it was shortened long enough past his knees, she shoes he wore were gone having made of shadow themselves he felt the cold snow under his bare feet frowning to himself. he took a few steps forward the usual silence of his steps no longer their with the help of his shadows instead a small crunch from the snow was heard his frown deepened further this simply will not to. until he gets his shadows back he has to walk there.

When the guardians defeated Pitch Black, they did it without Jacks help. But afterwards children become fearless, and many ended up dying. Too quote an Idol of mine, "There is no Light or Dark only power and those too weak to seek it" I feel this works here because there is no good or evil, there is only balance. and with Pitch gone the balance is gone, so Jack steps up and chooses to be the Gaurdians new target. He becomes the new Fear.

The darkness was never done with Mallory when Pitch had let him go, and Beth was never done feeling strange things once she decided to join the L.E.R. When many L.E.R. agents find out about Tooth telling Matt and Haven they need to shut down the L.E.R., they're not happy. So not only do Matt, Haven, and the others have to deal with making the decision of whose lives to save, Mallory, and trying to stop a second curse, they have to deal with this new group of rebels as well. By the time the Guardians have come, it is too late: Haven has turned into a Fearling. However, even with meeting the other "doomed soul" and the Guardians trying to keep everyone safe from the cure, Matt and the others are determined to save her. Been a year since pitch's defeat, of being a guardian of fun, of new believers, a year of still feeling...incomplete. Jack would still think of pitch, about his offer in Antarctica, about how he looking so hurt when he wasn't believed in no more, how he screamed and struggled from the nightmares dragging him into his now sealed lair. jack felt guilty about what happened to pitch he even had nightmares about it but that soon disappeared ever so slightly as the weeks passed by, until tonight. (at Jack's pond) jack arrived at his pond wanting to make new designs on it but as soon as he got there he wasn't expecting a unconscious severely injured Boogeyman in the center of it instead. jack just floated there in mid air watching unable to move to much in shock and fear then he saw pitch move. jack flinched as pitch shakily got on his feet but soon fell to his hands and knees blood pouring out of his wounds. Jack's fear spiked as he soon realized that the ponds ice was cracking under pitch, jack hasn't been able to refreeze his pond in a good week and that since it was April and the warmer weather was kicking in it's no surprise that the ponds ice would be all but thin by now. jack got back to his senses and flew as fast as he could to pitch screaming out to him."Pitch!" but it was to late as soon as pitch looked over to jack the ice gave way and pitch went into the watery depths. jack finally got to the hole where pitch went through but as soon as he tried to reach in and save pitch but the water and surrounding thawing ice immediately froze solid. jack screamed for pitch and tried to break the ice but all he did was make it worse. jack looked over to Manny and pleaded to help him break the ice to save pitch, or to get help from the guardians. (pitch pov) I sensed fear, it was so familiar, is that jack? I looked over last thing I knew I was in the water, it was cold, dark, I felt numb inside, this feeling it felt so...familiar. like I've been through it before but when?
