A short story about an arrogant musician who falls into oblivion. Inspired by the Magnus Archives. I may or may not work it over and/or extend it, this is mainly a practise to improve my writing and my english, constructive criticism and suggestions are always welcome.

What happens when you can still feel everything, but can no longer speak? "If I Turned Into a Rock" is a poem about the quiet fear of being forgotten. It explores love, absence, and the longing to remain important to someone even when you can no longer respond, reach out, or be seen the same way. For anyone who has ever wondered whether they would still be loved after they've changed, disappeared, or fallen silent.
