Featherkit, the daughter of Ravenwing and Snowsong, is born at a time of chaos. She and her brothers are at the constant threat of being stolen or killed by Darkheart and StarlessClan. With the attacks, FireClan has been weakened. Will Featherkit be able to save her clan? Or will it be destroyed and forgotten?

Skykit, an EagleClan kit, feels out of place after she learns a terrible secret. Rainkit, Skykit's sister, struggles to learn and follow the Warrior Code with all her heart. Featherkit tries to change the deepening rift that is starting to get between her two sisters while solving some problems of her own. All cats go their own way and that way can separate even the closest of friends.
