Valentine's Day, celebrated on February 14th, is a special day when we express our love and affection for our significant others, friends, and family. It's a day filled with romantic gestures, thoughtful gifts, and spending quality time together. While National Boyfriend Day is focused on boyfriends, Valentine's Day is for everyone to feel loved and appreciated.
The origins of Valentine's Day trace back to the Catholic Church in 496 A.D., when a feast was held in honor of the patron saints named Valentine. This celebration was meant to replace the Pagan festival of Lupercalia, which was considered brutal. Lupercalia was held on February 15th and involved sacrifices to the Roman God of Agriculture, Faunus, symbolizing fertility and purity.
