Five Night's In Anime books are good about being the same... It's not a bad thing but... I find that boring... This book strays away... from the trend of Perverted experience and sex... instead striving for reality... Something real... something emotion. something you read that makes you route for the character's success... and when the character feels you do too... Emotion is key in an experience... and this... well it's got plenty... If you strive for something different from your FNIA experience... look no longer... cause it's right in front of you : ) This book is for you guys... So take it... Love it... Or hate it... Because it's for you... and you alone.

The story is set in 1967/1968 around the time of Syd Barrett's departure from Pink Floyd. The chapters are set so as each one is an event in his life that may have inspired a song on his solo album "The Madcap Laughs."
