Katie and Patrick are not dating. At least, that is what they tell everyone. They are not exactly friends either. There are stolen kisses, late night conversations, lingering touches, and enough tension between them to make everyone at Tommen wonder what is really going on. Katie knows she wants more from Patrick. The problem is, she has no idea if he wants the same thing. After one disastrous night at a party leaves Katie feeling rejected and questioning everything between them, she starts to wonder if she ever really understood what she meant to Patrick in the first place. Because Patrick says he likes her. He looks at her like he wants her. He kisses her like she means something. So why won't he make her his? Starts in 2003, before either of them is ready to admit what is happening between them, Katie and Patrick find themselves caught somewhere between friendship, attraction, and something neither of them knows how to name. Everyone has their suspicions. But nobody knows the truth.
