[cross posted from ao3] after taking in what he cared about, hyunjae's eyes glinted again as he moved them around subtly - or maybe not so subtly - and let them linger and take in what he actually cared about more. sometimes he would be sitting at his desk and clicking on his mouse, probably editing pictures. other time he would be typing on his keyboard what hyunjae assumed were formal e-mails to be sent. when his desk was empty, he would be standing in their circle, either guiding the presentations or aiding the ceo in his explanations and discussions. he knew who he was. lee juyeon was very popular across the company's floors and what they have. hyunjae heard about him from his first day here. he watched workers wipe their drools - metaphorically - when juyeon was present or after he walked by. he watched lust and desire shine in workers' eyes whenever juyeon was around. - or an au where model hyunjae grows interest in his ceo's secretary juyeon.

It happened to be a while ago when the two first met, Eclair visiting the torn Dark Cacao Kingdom in pursuit of historical knowledge, and Affogato helping the other along the way, partly for his own benefit. Now that the pursuit of the Citadel was over and Affogato failed in properly securing the throne, he had nowhere else to go, just like all those years ago. Could there be a way for him to truly find himself, not just with a fresh start in a new kingdom (technically a rough start), but with the help of his old acquaintance?
