It's been a few months since Peter and Sable took down Hammerhead, the city has been pretty quiet till now, where it all starts with a small distraction that our feline cat needs so she can pull off a small heist of taking some black goo, well what happens when our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man gets a hold of this goo without knowing and what happens when a new powerful villain comes into the mix of things threatening to kill anyone that comes in his and his men's way.
