It was supposed to be an ordinary day. Then Félix Agreste walked into Marinette's life. Inspired by the original Miraculous concept-the darker, anime-inspired story that existed before the series we know today-this fanfiction takes that unfinished idea and builds something of its own around it. The familiar characters. The familiar beginning. But a new story, new choices, and a much darker fate.

For Marinette, the world ended the moment her parents died. For Adrien, the world began the moment his dad gave up on him. For Alya, the world changed for the worst when she lost almost everyone. For Nino, the world changed for the better when he found her again. The world has been divided in the seven years since the fever struck, forever separated between the Immune and the Exposed. Those lucky enough to be Immunes live a life of comfort and stability. Those who are an Exposed... They have to live a life of poverty and fear of those who went too far-the Rabid. Adjusted to their ruined life, Marinette and Adrien no longer abide by the laws of society and travel through Europe in search of hope. Trying to beat time, Alya and Nino break code to search for the friend they lost so many years before. Four people, four lives, each intertwining to create one story.

Felix returns to his home in Paris after finishing an exchange program in America. With his arrival comes many surprises especially from his old friend, Marinette. A reunion of love and comfort. "We were friends...I'm so happy to see you again" [Was originally a one shot but will be turned into a series!]]

what if Marinette had a twin? What if she has been dating Adrien for 13 years? What if Adrien had a twin? What if Marinette's twin was dating Adrien's twin? well in this story this is all true!

This is just a short Miraculous story, although, in this world, Adrien does not exist (sorry!). I don't really know where I'm taking this yet but... stay tuned. I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THE CHARACTERS OR MIRACULOUS ANYTHING. The storyline is mine though.

Felinette, don't hate me. If you're into Adrienette or Lukanette there will be some but it is mostly about Felix and Marinette. For those who don't know who Felix is, he is the original character design for Chat Noir/ Adrien Agreste but was cut off for being a very typical male character. Astruc decided to put him back in the series after deep consideration on where to put him. Warning Felix may sometimes turn into an OOC because this story was started before the release of the episode "Felix."
