At Oxford, everyone plays a part. The philosophers wax poetic in pubs about free will they don't believe in. The medics complain about sleep while secretly loving the grind. The humanities students linger in gardens, pretending their degrees aren't melting in their hands like butter. And then there's the ones like me - the ones who don't fit. Watching. Measuring. Calculating. I always thought that gave me an advantage. I don't get caught off guard. I don't get involved. I keep to my side of the library and my side of the line. I don't gamble with people. People are chaos. But then she showed up.

vivian had meet felix at boarding school when they were 16. felix invited vivian to saltburn for the summer and vivian has been spending the summers with the catton family for the past 4 years. felix's family loves having vivian stay for the summers his father considers her a daughter. venetia and vivian get along very well mainly due to the fact that they are so similar. elspeth loves vivian she completely and utterly addors the girl and she is always telling everyone all about how. "oh i just adore that girl and shes so good for my felix." but of course vivian is the closes with felix. they are that duo that everyone knows about and when one for them is missing everyone asks they other where they are. the two are as close as possible they know almost everything about each other. there so close that some times in the summer vivian will be woken up to find felix climbing in to her bed claiming he couldn't sleep. even tho they two were close friends they would also hit on each other constantly both loving to see the other one flustered. occasionally when they would get really drunk they would end up making out but neither of them would ever bring it up. felix and vivian had decided to try and get in to oxford together and thank the lord they had both gotten in. it was one of the best things that had ever happened to vivian. getting that letter felix had gotten his first and she had begun to worry she wouldn't get in but she did and know they get to go to school together. also if you see any mistakes or find a part that doesn't sound right please point it out. it helps me alot i try but sometimes i miss things. this goes for all of my book i would really appreciate it.
