Felix and Chan are roommates in college, and Felix absolutely adores Chan- from a distance that is. You see, Chan seems to want nothing to do with Felix. His family isn't wealthy, they're more on the poor side to be exact, but Felix still finds ways to make life worth it. Sadly, that can't be supported. His father is often drunk and abuses Felix, but he was scared to show anyone his bruises or scars. His mother soon gets worried about her son, and finds out about this abuse once Felix breaks out and tells his mother. She was so scared for her son. "You won't have to worry anymore. Chan's skin was pale, and two of his teeth were so sharp, they'd puncture anything. Chan wasn't human. He was a vampire.

The number he texted had not answered for hours and Felix about resigned himself into thinking his number neighbor blocked him.
