How Rurik and Lotus crossed their paths, and how they journey almost ended. TW: starving, mild swearing, implied cheating ~ I remember reading that Rurik met Lotus when he offered him food, so I decided to work around it even if it's not completely true to the canon. Lutea and Nucifera are made by FizzyQuake Smudge is made by Pixie likes to write Lutea is a different version of Rurik and Nucifera is a different version of Lotus. Smudge is a Inkmare kid who was kinda adopted by Rurik and that's what all of these fics are about. Any other characters mentioned will have their creators tagged at the end of the story.
