Book II of The Lost Line opens not with the chase across the plains, but with a brief return to Rivendell - and then to Helm's Deep, where Rook steps once more into the war beside the Fellowship. She has healed. Her elven foresight has awakened. And though she speaks little of what passed in her absence, those who know her best can see it: She is not entirely the same. Set during the events of The Two Towers, this is not the story of where she went - but of who she is becoming.
