Life offers us countless crossroads, each capable of shaping our path in ways we rarely foresee. Even the smallest, most insignificant choices can unleash storms in the distance. Rain is longed for on scorching days and cursed on stormy nights - just as our minds claim to know the answers while our hearts insist on leading us elsewhere. For a seventeen-year-old girl, one such choice turns into a nightmare: four boys are dead, and she is the prime suspect. As she recounts her past to the lead detective, a web of love, betrayal, and buried horrors slowly comes to light. Between present-day interrogation and the memories she cannot escape, she fights to uncover the truth: Who were those boys really? Why was it he, of all people, who left the deepest wound? In the end, only one question remains: How much truth can a heart endure once it has already begun to break?

At the end of the Second World War, the world was strucked with fear and waited for Armageddon, due the creation of the Atom Bomb and the emergence of the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union. Yet something unexpected happened, mankind began to harness Atomic energy not as a weapon but as a nearly limitless source of energy, thus paved the way for a new technological race. The US and the Soviet Union along with their respective allies competed on the development of new technologies and knowledge, focusing more on medicine, agriculture and weaponry. Both factions spread their influences with this newly acquired tech, forming alliances. Life became easier, every world issue such as World Hunger, Malnutrition, Poverty, Racism and Inequality ended in a whim. It was the golden age for mankind, not until a simple false alarm in the USSR's Air defenses would set the world under nuclear fire.

The Grind is the greatest show in the Galaxy: Nine Circles of blood, money and death. Beatrix Aliger has thirty days. Thirty days to find 800,000 credits for her brother's life-saving surgery, or watch the only family she has left die. In the depths of an abandoned starship, she finds a solution: The Dreadnought Protocol. It's not just a piece of tech; it's a military AI that rewrites biology, optimizing the host for maximum violence. It's powerful, experimental, and it eats its user's lifespan for fuel. With no other options, Beatrix installs the cyber parasite and enters the First Circle of The Grind, the galaxy's most brutal underground tournament. The Grind isn't just a fight club. It's a massive deadly spectacle of professional fighters with technological enhancements backed with teams trying to hack their rivals systems: The UFC meets F1 in a dystopian future. To save her brother, she has to outsmart seasoned killers and navigate a game rigged by the criminal Clans. But as the AI whispers tactical solutions in her mind and her humanity begins to strip away, Beatrix realizes the arena isn't the only thing trying to kill her. She has to win before the Protocol consumes her. WHAT TO EXPECT: Hunger's Game meets Ghost in the Shell meets Gladiator ✅ Humans powered by AI and Nanotech (your body has an operative system) ✅ Found family messy team dynamics (No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes.) ✅ Physical fights with digital team warfare (Fighting and hacking at the same time) ✅ Body horror that escalates (slow corruption, turning into monsters) ✅ Moral complexity with impossible decisions (Am I the bad guy?) ✅ Character-driven plot (relationships drive decisions drive action) ✅ Tragedy, conflict, drama (No cozy stuff here) ✅ Posting three days a week: Mon - Wed - Fri (Not burning out. I'm here for the long run)

Luna was raised in the Elysian faith to believe that maiaaks are monsters that threaten humanity and must be destroyed. When she is ordered to escort a maiaak prisoner named Lyzal to Athanasia to face judgement, she obeys. But early in the journey, Luna encounters another maiaak, named Saros, and hesitates to kill him. Her compassion leads to a reluctant alliance, bringing him into their already tense group. As the three travel across the countryside, they notice shadows moving and strange light that feels more like judgment than safety. These haunting forces seem drawn to conflict and fear, stalking their every step and complicating the already dangerous mission. They also learn that these forces aren't the only things that haunt the living and that there are darker secrets in the world that even maiaaks fear. By the time they reach Athanasia, Luna's purpose has changed. She carries the truth she has witnessed and seeks answers from the Solarch himself. But the closer she gets to the heart of her faith, the darker things become. She questions whether Elysian is truly guiding humanity, or if the Solarch's vision for humanity may be far more monstrous than the maiaaks she was taught to fear.

When thoughts within become reality without, every idea counts. When the world bends to people's will, how do we control it and make it stable? How do we react when collective faith threatens the freedom of the individual? These are questions that face Eda as she steps into her duties as a part of the core of officers manning the great walls of the federated free cities. This is the story of a young woman being thrust into a world in which her preordained place demands much of her. How will her friendships fare as the reality of prolonged conflict starts to weigh on all of them? The trio of Eda, Addrian, and Matthew take their places in a conflict much larger than themselves, and we follow their journey of discovering how to hold onto who they are while adapting themselves to the hostile environment of the federal defence front. _________________________________________ Writers note This is my first public effort at creative writing. As such, there might be retroactive editing going on. The story as a whole has been ruminating in my head for years, as often happens for us first-time writers. No AI will ever touch my pages, although it graces the cover for now (I am more than ready to swap it out as soon as I can find a good alternative). This means that all my writing is in my personal prose, and I appreciate any constructive criticism as well as other types of notes. As said, the story is somewhere in there, in the back of my head. Now we'll see how it comes out. Also, as a sidenote. While the story involves religiosity heavily, this does not reflect any condemnation of religion in general. If anything, the story seeks to critically examine any kind of absolute and controlled belief. As such, any resemblance to real-life religious practices is sincerely coincidental Weekly additions! I hope to set a couple of pages worth of writing each week.

Our leading lady, Candy Sweet, works at a carnival/circus as a magician, alongside the Ringmaster. Luckily, our lady is the top attraction at said carnival and is more than cozy with the Ringmaster. However, that's not her only comrade; she's also somewhat acquainted with both attractions tied for second and the third-place attraction. Their tricks range from lion/tiger taming to tightrope/high-wire walking to being an escape artist. So, pop the chaimpine, take your bows, and have some sugar, for you're at Sir Butterrum's Carnival! At The Carnival is in the format of a script book, meant to be a play/musical. If requested, I will make illustrations of what each character looks like. Enjoy!

Read the story of Aimi Kagari- A girl equipped with the ability to hear minds and a desire for the position of student council president. Out of Frequency is a slice-of-life story about power, misinterpretation, and learning the difference between what people want and what they need.
