Hinzu kommt, dass eben dieser Zwerg wahnsinnig attraktiv ist, und Bellas Gefühle verrückt spielen lässt. Werden sie es schaffen den Erebor zurückzugewinnen, und somit den Zwergen ihre Heimat und Gold zurückzugeben? "How did I get here? How could I have let this happen?" I whisper to myself. Blood is everywhere so much blood too much. Orc blood mixes with elven, goblin, dwarvish, man, and *gulp* hobbit blood. Everything is dying I can feel it. Everywhere the blood falls the grass dies. The life leaves it along with the life of who the blood belonged too. The sun is red blood red. It's an evil day. A day of mistakes and regrets. But I can make a final stand I won't let Erebor fall. I won't let father fall. Evil will not prevail not on this day. As long as I can help it.

A knocking on the door made her look up from the book she was reading. A guest? At this hour? Slowly the small Hobbit stood up to answer the door. „Dwalin, at your service." A dwarf. A dwarf on her doorstep. A dwarf she knew a long time ago. A dwarf who died in battle, proudly swinging his weapon. With a blank stare she scanned the dwarf. ‚Oh Yavanna, how cruel of you' Another moment the hobbit stood in the half open door, slowly realizing what was happening. In her empty eyes a spark lit up, after a long and cold winter. A single teardrop ran down her cheek, breaking her numbness. „You are alive?" She wispered under her breath. Before Dwalin could react the small hobbit jumped at him, hugging the big warrior and sobbing at his chest. Modern AU Crack/Humor/Fluff - Bilba and Thorin get into a fight and, as they are both prideful and stubborn, neither one can quite bring themselves to simply admit to their part and apologize. Bilba finally has enough of the stalemate and decides the most brilliant and epic solution ever would be to kidnap Thorin and lock him in the basement until he gives in, admits it was all his fault and begs for her forgiveness . It's possible she might have been a WEE bit drunk when she came up with, and executed, this plan. Of course now that she's done it she can't back down. That would be like admitting Thorin was right...somehow. She's not quite as firm on that point but what IS clear is Thorin looks far to smug for a kidnap victim which means she is certainly not admitting her plan was not the most epic and well thought out plan in the history of epic and well thought out plans. Even when she realizes Frerin might have been a witness meaning she has to kidnap him too...and Dwalin shows up acting all suspicious so of COURSE she has to kidnap him........ There just MAY have been one...or two TINY flaws in her plan after all but that doesn't mean it wasn't still epic! Thorin will rue the day he crossed her!

Prompt Request from Agent_Snark: "Bilba is a world renowned concert pianist. During rehearsal one day, she notices the cute stagehand up on the catwalk focusing lights but doesn't pay too much attention until he greets her after the performance that night, flowers in hand and an invitation to dinner at a restaurant a common stagehand shouldn't be able to afford." I definitely took some liberties with the prompt and took it my own way a bit but the core elements are all still there! :D

After managing to find the heir to the throne of Erebor, Gandalf the Grey persuades the Dwarf, Thorin Oakenshield, into reclaiming his long lost homeland. In order to do that, however, Gandalf insists that they need a certain burglar in order to steal back the jewel that will ensure Thorin's authority as the king. What's going to happen when the Wizard's original candidate turns him down, forcing him to turn to his alternative, who is a complete stranger to Middle Earth? Note: Story contains strong language.
