This moment always reminds why i loved racing, the way i realished the way my fingers flexed inside my gloves, as i put my red helmet on and stepped into my car. the way my hands gripped the steering wheel, always brought me this thrill of excitement. Note to my readers: This is a short story taken from: FORMULA 1 - Hairpins and Chicanes. If you have read that book this is a slightly rewritten version of Chapter 3 - Monaco. Nikita Vasilev, McLaren's new driver, must prove she belongs in Formula 1. Not just for herself but for all the female race drivers and fans.

This all felt like a fever dream, "F1 officials have now announced Formula One's first-ever female driver" was this truly happening? ------------

Charles was planning to ask her out on a date after her first season in formula one in 2018 but during the last race she is involved in a huge incident and is put into a coma for many years.The doctors believed that she wouldn't make it but Charles wasn't having any of it. Coincidentally the day she had been in a crash was charles' birthday and ever since she had "died" he had not celebrated his birthday because it made him think of her all the time. She wakes up for her coma a couple years later only to be offered the seat next to charles at Ferrari.He says that he doesn't want her racing in case she got hurt again but she doesn't listen will being teammates split them apart?
