*Do you ever wonder what happens to unfinished stories?* Well, Talia never thought of that, and she never had time for stories anyways, not when her love life was falling in pieces, her friendship status was zero, and her confidence was slipping off the deep end. Then, she suddenly wakes up in the fantasy world she and her once close friends had created when they were kids. Except, instead of a utopian fairyland with beautiful princesses, kind dragons, and powerful warriors, it's a world hanging on by a thread, threatening to destroy the only magic Talia has ever experienced in her life. I mean, the world still has dragons and wizards, but now they are fighting for their lives, AND have to put up with bad boyfriends. Talia now had a new goal: she has to journey through her own imagination, fix the unnecessary plot holes nine year old Talia had left unfixed, and find her friends before the story closes in on itself, trapping them there forever. Hey, at least she finally gets to meet her prince charming, even though his charm may have been a little exaggerated. Note: This is Part one of The STIJEZ series, following the six girls and their adventures through their own fairytale. Also NOTEEEEE that this story is meant to be a first draft of sorts. So, I'll just be writing, posting, and making edits along the way. Thank youuuu

It was an accident. Or maybe it wasn't. Which is how Maggie's found herself in Lake Conifer, with her estranged and pregnant mother. But at least there nobody knows what Maggie has done. It's the only good thing about staying with her mom. Because even Maggie doesn't want to remember what she did. When she befriends teenage-mother Jayla and quiet, friendly Miles, suddenly she starts to think maybe everyone deserves a second chance-including herself. But then Jensen is in Lake Conifer, in the restaurant her stepfather owns, on the exact day Maggie is working. It seems like fate, or a joke. But nothing is funny when his presence means she owes everyone answers. Like what she did to Alice. Now at the end of the summer, with college approaching quickly, Maggie has another chance to pick up and leave it all behind. But with her relationships suddenly on the line, all she wants to do is stay. Even if that means facing the truth.

Two best friends. Two boys they can't quite figure out. And secrets that could change everything. Twelve years ago, Maha's mother left her with a family friend "for a day" and never came back. Now she lives in a house where she's always felt like a guest - polite, grateful, but never quite belonging. The one exception was Hasan, her childhood friend who made her feel at home in her own skin, until a falling out neither talks about turned them into careful strangers who live down the hall. These days, they share a roof, a university, and all the unspoken tension of whatever they used to be. Zimal is everything Maha isn't - confident, beloved, with a mother who adores her and a stepfather who treats her like his own. She also has Aariz, her best friend and partner-in-crime who knows her better than anyone. They share everything, except for the part where he's been quietly in love with her for years. When Zimal's search for answers about her inheritance pulls her into her estranged father's dangerous political world, it drags everyone along with her. Suddenly they're all navigating family secrets, old betrayals, and feelings they're not ready to name. Between late-night conversations that feel like confessions and moments that hang heavy with everything they're not saying, Maha and Zimal discover that some truths are worth the risk - and some people are worth fighting for. A story about friendship, belonging, and finding the courage to reach for what you want, set against the backdrop of Karachi's complicated family politics.

TW abuse, domestic violence, hints at sexual assault When a long-dreaded proposal finally arrives, she knows she should feel happy. Instead, the ring on her finger feels heavier than the bruises she hides beneath her clothes. What follows is four sleepless nights filled with avoidance, hope, denial, and the slowly dawning truth: she can't stay, not another minute, not another day. Leaving everything behind, she slips out of the apartment with nothing but a small shoulder bag and the kind of courage that comes only after years of being broken down. But freedom doesn't feel like relief. It feels like trembling hands, unfamiliar train stations, and an empty phone left behind on purpose. As she moves from city to city searching for anonymity, she begins to face what three years of loving the wrong person has done to her and what it might take to build a life she has never allowed herself to imagine.

Friendship, and especially the BFF kind, are like the ocean waves along the beach. Even the most constant, steadfast BFF friendships become different, evolve, or both. Sometimes, regrettably, BFF friendships become unbalanced with one woman "taking" much more than "giving" the gifts of friendship. At some point, the giver recognizes this and begins to consider pulling the plug and severing ties. Breaking off a friendship is a process that moves from the consideration stage to the decision stage. Once committed to the break up the actualization phase is initiated. Actions, inactions, words, thought patterns - all the subsequent decisions the giver make have consequences. Some consequences are surprising, a few predictable, many healthy and desirable. However, on rare occasions, the consequences can be deadly for one, both or others involved in close relationships with either party. The story of two friends who grow up, dream, laugh, cry and experience life together comes to an abrupt yet eventual end as they approach midlife. Promises made, broken and fulfilled, presumed and assumed, the breakdown of the foundation of any relationship - trust - and the ultimate realization of self preservation and self love are the planks upon which Plant Your Roots Deeply is built and told.
