In her original world, Eisley Imperial is an ordinary girl who casually answers a strange survey her sister discovers online-one about reincarnation into a fictional novel.
The novel is Noblesse: Bloom and Magic, a popular fantasy romance centered around Helena Archcroft, a commoner who receives the opportunity to study magic at the prestigious Noblesse Institute in Solaire.
There, Helena's life changes when she meets Cadmus Vanhall von Ethrrio, the heir to the Ethrio Dukedom.
According to the original story, Cadmus eventually falls in love with Helena and breaks his engagement to Francoise Eisley de Luca, the youngest daughter of Archmage Esmeralda Callixti de Luca, the enigmatic Head of Arcadus-the greatest Magic Tower in the continent.
Francoise is destined to become the story's villainess.
And eventually, she is destined to die.
Not by Helena.
Not by the hands of the Empire.
But by the very man who once promised to marry her.
During a catastrophic Beast Tide, Cadmus sacrifices Francoise to save himself and the people around him. Her death becomes one of the events that pushes Helena and Cadmus closer together, ultimately leading toward their happy ending.
Except-Eisley wakes up as Francoise.
And she remembers everything.
She knows the heroine.
She knows the male lead.
She knows the academy.
She knows the Beast Tide.
Most importantly, she knows the exact moment when Francoise is supposed to die.
But there is one problem.
Eisley soon discovers that the novel she read wasn't telling the whole story.
Because Francoise Eisley de Luca isn't simply a shy noblewoman destined to become a sacrificial lamb.
She is the daughter of the most mysterious Archmage in the world.
She is connected to the Imperial family of Glyphmere.
She possesses knowledge of Ancient Runes, a form of Runecraft almost entirely forgotten by modern civilization.
And the more Eisley changes Francoise's fate, the more the world begins to deviate from the novel she remembers.
