Hybrids were very common amongst everyone, humans included, but female vampires have never been heard of. Out of fear for their child, Lane Michael and Bethany Anne, absconded to the country. As Diana grew older, they noticed that she wasn't like normal vampires. She was stronger, faster, and even her vampiric features were different. Diana has something that she has been told to keep secret her entire life in case something were to go wrong and others found out about her. The mere thought of this secret being found out terrifies her. Instead of her eyes turning a dark black at the smell of blood, they turned into a maroon color of sorts.
