A corpse, a city marked by decay, and a detective whose obsession with death drives him to the edges of secrecy and corruption.
In late 1950s at Mexico City, the disappearance of a young woman from a wealthy family, shakes society. After nearly a month of searching, her body is found in the shadowy corners of Miraflores. Espíndola, a seasoned detective with unorthodox methods, takes on the case, driven by his peculiar fascination with the hidden clues in cadaveric fauna.
But what seems like just another murder in a city plagued by its own demons, soon reveals a far more disturbing truth. Espíndola will uncover that the girl's death is tied to something far more sinister-and that the answers lie not only in physical evidence, but in the riddles that death itself has left behind.
