If you've seen the Wonder Woman movie you'll know that she killed Ares, the god of war. Ares has a sister, Enyo, the goddess of war, described in Greek mythology as 'the destroyer of city's'. 100 years after the death of her brother, Enyo comes to seek revenge, and she's allied with renegade Amazons who seek the overthrow of Hippolyta and to rule Themyscria. For her part Diana is troubled by her role in the war. Killing Ares didn't end conflict and she wonders if she was right to kill so many German soldiers. When she reads the diary of a German woman whose 17 year old son died at Diana's hand, sees the woman's grief and anger she's almost traumatised, and wishes to never be involved in violence again. But with not only her own life but that of her sister Amazons and her mother under threat from Enyo's forces she must fight again and come to terms with herself.

Nerium used to be a hopeless romantic in her teenage years, probably because she watched too many telenovelas and read countless romance novels. Even with her enthusiasm to have a great love story she lives in a home that portrays very little love in relationships. Just to get away from the chaos in her home Nerium goes to boarding school as a high school freshman. In this world she knew and was familiar with she met Cole Hope on one unexpected day, at dawn, and just like that she started living through her main character era...until she realizes that she was not playing the love interest, but rather the villain Heartbreak leads to bad decisions, and bad decisions leads to a terrible accident that takes her to a parallel world where everyone is almost the complete opposite. A world where she is finally the main character, a world where she can have her first love Cole Hope, except her appointed student therapist is annoying and inescapable.
