After turning 15 at which many kids around his age have magic only he did not even his rival/secret crush yuna(fem yuno) has a wind style magic . Asta always loved her since they were kids he always was on her side helping her with her training , healing her when overdid her training at the end he never left her side . on her 15th birthday he was gonna propose her since he worked day and night to get money and buy a special ring and express his feelings for her , but before entering the church he heard some thing that broke his heart ,the girl he loved has a crush on a noble who saved her a few days from a group of thugs who were trying to steal her pendant and were about to molester her but he came and saved her from , Asta after hearing this was sad and broken but he respected her point and her crush on the noble and hid the ring inside and went in with his regular loud mouth and celebrated that day of her birthday . Next day he thought since he doesn't have magic he should train on swords since he only has 3 years left and needed to get ready for the magic knight exam but didn't know who to ask for help so he just wandered around the forest and went too deep inside the forest and came across a strange old man who was gonna change his future for ever.........................................
