Years after the original story, Ferris Bueller is married to Sloane Peterson, has children, and is enjoying his retirement. One day, he receives a devastating phone call that his best friend, Cameron Frye, doesn't have much longer. Determined to relive the old days, Ferris decides to help Cameron have his last day off. Please note: These are not my characters. They belong to their respective owners. The plot of this story, however, was written by yours truly. I hope you enjoy!

This is a fan fiction on Ferris Bueller's day off with my twist on what they do while they are skipping school.

Corey Reagan, Maria Aiza, and Bernie Riley are the tightest friends Lockland High School has ever known. Each is a troublemaker in her own way, but they rule they school with acceptance and amity. But the girls aren't always as awesome as they may appear. They all have their own secrets and problems that they struggle to overcome. One Friday morning, Corey has an idea. An idea that may change herself and her friends for the better for forever. Maybe. She hopes. Corey decides that she, Bernie, and Maria are going to skip school. As with all trips, the most meaning is not in the destination, but the journey. While the girls enjoy their day off, they narrowly miss being caught for truancy several times. But will they be able to outsmart the principal and the office staff for the whole day without their ultimate destination being the detention hall? In this modern retelling of Ferris Bueller's Day Off (with a few twists!), follow Corey, Bernie, and Maria on their journey of trust, confidence, fortitude, love, discipline, and friendship.
