Evan Hartley hates Christmas-loud lights, forced cheer, packed shopping centres, all of it. After losing his mum years ago on Christmas Eve, the season has always felt like a reminder of everything he's missing. But when his job sends him to the tiny, postcard-perfect town of Pineberry Ridge for a December project, he meets Holly Bennett-a warm, bright, Christmas-obsessed local who runs the town's holiday events. She's gingerbread. He's black coffee. She's twinkle lights. He's burnt-out street lamps. Holly is determined to help Evan rediscover the magic of the season, and Evan is equally determined to keep his emotional walls firmly in place. But Pineberry Ridge has a way of nudging hearts closer: A snowed-in night in Holly's decorated cabin A disastrous gingerbread-house competition A reluctant sleigh ride that ends in laughter A tree-lighting ceremony where Evan feels something spark for the first time in years As Holly teaches Evan to embrace Christmas again, Evan realises he's not just falling for the season... he's falling for her. But when Holly discovers the real reason Evan hates Christmas, she realises she has to handle his heart gently-or risk losing the man who finally learned to hope again. In the end, love becomes the greatest gift either of them expected.

Will Arya end up tearing a friendship apart?

When Father Noel Carmel, the perpetually flustered parish priest of Saint Nicholas' Parish, is invited to celebrate Christmas Mass inside the town's legendary chocolate factory, he knows two things for certain: it's a tremendous honour, and something is bound to go wrong! Still, he agrees, bringing along eight altar boys to help. Seven of them are experts in mischief. The eighth, their unshakable prefect, is the only thing standing between order and absolute mayhem. Waiting for them is Chris Paddington, the factory's cheerful (if slightly dim) owner. An ex-altar boy who rose from janitor to guardian of a 200-year-old chocolate empire simply because he was too honest to lie and too kind to fake it. He welcomes them with open arms to a wonderland of chocolate, caramel, peppermint, and gingerbread. But when a sudden blizzard seals the doors shut, Christmas Eve turns from festive to frantic. Snowed in with time on their hands and temptation everywhere, the altar boys discover the ultimate danger: a captive audience. Two unexpected guests only make matters worse: one intent on devouring as much chocolate as humanly possible, and another quietly determined to see the factory -and its owner-ruined. Snowed in and surrounded by sugar, secrets begin to melt. Old grudges resurface, tempers flare, and laughter gives way to moments of unexpected honesty as the night stretches on. Between pranks gone too far and kindness quietly given, Father Noel and his unlikely flock must confront what it truly means to lead, to forgive, and to belong!

"The one thing I don't understand is the fact that my potatoes came out unbearably salty. I followed the recipe for creamy mashed potatoes. There were NOT creamy. Oh, yes. Another thing is that the gigantic turkey I bought yesterday completely incinerated while cooking!"
