The Mist has hidden demigods safe for millennia, and magic has helped wizard kind flourish for generations. Neither of them has known about the other, but both sources of power come from a single source-the goddess Hecate. When Hecate disappears, its up to three heroes to bring her back. Enter Saphire, Evelyn and Leo. Saphire and Evelyn are best friends at Ilvermorny. When Saphire receives an invitation to a summer camp, she's more than a little confused, especially since Evelyn is going, but won't share details with her. Evelyn, meanwhile, can't wait to show her best friend Camp Half Blood, where she's been going for her whole life. Beatrice Wells maybe a daughter of Athena, but she isn't particulary good at the wisdom part. The crafts she can do, and she can change a bicycle tire in less than a minute, but wisdom? Not really her thing.

When Leo makes his way back from Ogygia with Calypso, his plan to get home faster fails to take them back to Camp Half Blood, it instead takes them to Middle Earth, where there's a great dragon who lives in a castle in the Lonely Mountain, and a small Hobbit who has an obsession with a golden ring. Leo, Calypso, and Festus need to find a way to get back to Camp Half-Blood before they get killed. (These characters do not belong to me)

As of the title, you can gather that Festus is going to show up a lot, along with other forgotten characters. In short, this is the story of how the gang meet The Moon-runners, a group of boys and girls who fight monsters, basically a group in between the hunters of Artemis and the Amazons. But not all is as it seems. What ties do these new people have to the opposition? What are they hiding? The only characters I own are the Moon-runners and Fanisha. All others belong to Rick Riordan.
