Meet Ryland a rebellious yet generous soul. At the age of five she was in and accident and her family died leaving her behind. A nice guy of the name Mel found her and took her in, then they moved to London where she spent a portion of her life. Soon Mel decided it would be better for her to take classes in her home country, sending her to boarding school in America at the age of 10. Ryland is 15 now and is going to visit Mel for a few weeks, so she thinks. When he breaks the news of not being able support her anymore will she handle it? Mel has given his guardian rights to a certain someone... Who could that be? Will Ryland go with it or find a way back?
