My clan has warred against the Steinhart Clan for too long. As Laird, I, Aaron McLaren have grown weary, so in order for it all to end, I have purposed a solution. If I could get my eldest daughter to the altar and marry her to the Steinhart heir, then perhaps this feud would cease. Though I haven't told anyone, except my darling wife, I am a supernatural creature. I found out by reading a diary entry in my grandmother's last remaining letter, that she left me before her death. In the letter she revealed that we- the McLaren clan are werewolves. I need to have my eldest daughter settled before she comes to the age when she receives her wolf from the Moon goddess Selene. I won't go into to many details, as that will spoil the story, but I also wanted to let you know that I changed the last names of both main clan families. Though my story takes certain facts from history, this book is not real.

I never intended on my life to end up like this. I never intended on breaking promises I'd made to myself and to others, but love makes you forget those promises.
