Ik lag daar maar, roerloos, stil. Mijn ogen half open, het verdriet erin af te lezen. De krekels tjirpte en de wind suisde zachtjes langs mijn oren. Ik bewoog niet, diep in gedachte verzonken. Het enige wat ik hoorde was de natuur en voetstappen die naderde. Grace had een perfect leven. Ze was rijk, was populaire en had zat vrienden. Tot dat Finn in haar leven kwam, een jongen die volgens haar ouders niet goed genoeg voor haar was. Maar daar dachten Finn en Grace anders over. Om Grace te beschermen hebben haar ouders Finn weggestuurd. Grace heeft nu de taak haar liefde te bewijzen zodat ze Finn uit de hel kan halen, maar dat blijkt moeilijker dan gedacht.
