The Elders told them that every person is born with a glowing gold line. A line that runs from the center of their forearm to just below the base of their palm, on their left hand. As time goes by, the glow of the line shortens towards the base of the palm, leaving gold ink. When the glow completely leaves the line, the person's soul leaves the body. The elders called it Makhaid, the line of life. Every person is born with one, and Asteria is no exception to Mother Nature's law. Except her lifeline has no glow. ***A/N*** This writing will be very susceptible to change. I don't have a set plot yet, so please bare with me through the changes.

Mass ordinaries translated to Quenya language invented by J.R.R.Tolkien. The liturgical texts of the Mass, also known as the Mass ordinaries, are the texts that are invariable from one Mass to another, regardless of the specific liturgical season or feast being celebrated. These texts include the Kyrie, Gloria, Credo, Sanctus, and Agnus Dei. The Kyrie is a series of petitions for mercy and forgiveness, often sung or recited in the ancient Greek language. It is usually followed by the Gloria, a hymn of praise and thanksgiving to God. The Credo, also known as the Nicene Creed, is a statement of belief in the fundamental tenets of the Christian faith. It is recited or sung in many languages, including Latin, English, and other languages. The Sanctus is a hymn of praise to God, typically sung or recited in the Latin language. It is followed by the Agnus Dei, a prayer for mercy and peace. These texts are an integral part of the Mass and are typically included in every celebration of the Eucharist. They are often set to music and sung or recited by the assembly, the choir, or a cantor.

[IN PROGRESS] Mizar was an elven General whose losses were far too high for his liking. The fact that his maps and information stopped abruptly at the border was not helping. What if he was presented a chance to end it all? What if that chance had a mind of his own? Doash was a man of many names. Though he preferred the one the elf had given him. It was the only one that didn't make reference to his voice, which had been taken from him. He'd been meant to die then, but death wasn't quiet ready to claim him. Would he choose that voice over his newfound friendship with the elf? Will they be able to defeat the tyrant king?
