Two creatures of a different kind find an interest in each other. Word Count: 1,749 ---- A short story I wrote in early 2019 for a writing contest. While I never received any results, I wish to share this story with the world. I have recently done some editing, so the quality should be sufficient. However, criticism would be appreciated. (NOTE: The cover of this story is temporary and shall be replaced).

At only 17, Young Cain Leonidas became the prince of a race he's never heard of and is now a part of; the Caelum. His family unknowing of his survival and Cain not knowing their whereabouts. After a 9 month coma, Cain has woken to a world of a new species that has a feeling of superiority that he must now lead.

Paranorma is the most intriguing land on the surface of Meta. Known for its gothic mystique and mysterious charm. Despite its romantic aura, this land holds many dark secrets. Inhumans lurk beneath the surface of the human world, forced to live in the bleakest of shadows. Enslavement, experimentation, and abuse are all too real possibilities for the non-human. Even if everything seems hopeless, perhaps there is a heroine out there who could change this injustice... Kage Senshi is a lone vampire greatly affected by this seperation. The plain, grumpy, and just plain grumpy enigmatic lady of the night can only dream of things like friendship and romance. So when two humans take her by surprise, her entire world has been shaken. Together with a guild full of handsome men, complete with abs and square jawlines, she might just have a chance! Prepare to go on a fantastic journey that is filled with love triangles, hunky inhuman men, and many other "beloved" tropes of Paranormal storytelling. Just like the "unforgettable" Twilight Saga and the popular works that have come after it. This story is everything you would expect from YA fiction...possibly... Cuz this is totally not a parody or anything...BAKA!

A guide to a fictional species I've made

This is a kind of guidebook for different species and their culture in the world of Avantra. This book is meant to help make sense of any confusing things in both my books: The Prisoner and Tales of Avantra, which are both set in Avantra. There will also be little bits of history, maybe pieces of Avantrian writing and poetry, riddles too, honestly it's just as much a place for y'all to understand as it is for me. I'll provably have some random pages that just plain don't make sense- and those ones, for future reference, are probably just for me to keep track of things.
