When the young and brilliant engineer, Fiddleford H. McGucket gets attacked by a terrifying creature while doing work with his friend, Ford starts to fear for the future safety of Fiddleford. Another Fiddauthor fic because I'm lowly trash and this fandom requires more Fiddauthor fanfics. This one is a mix of a few ideas such as Ford and Fidds raising Tate, some stuff with Bill, etc. {There are mentions of abuse and homophobia, along with divorce and custody troubles, Bill being suggestive and a jerk, etc, so if that stuff bothers you, there's your warning.} Guess I should also say this is inspired partially by the official Gremloblin page of Journal 3. Or will they be deceived and be led to an ill fate? This is a Gravity Falls AU fanfiction, The characters and places do not belong to me, but to Alex Hirsch and Disney. A sleep deprived Ford thinks it's a good idea to do a dangerous experiment without protective equipment. As usual, Fiddleford has to knock some sense into him. Some angsty and fluffy Fiddauthor, because I adore this ship. I apologize for Fidds' accent, I know I'm not very good at writing it.

Stanford and Fiddleford go shopping for a tree

Ok so have y'all seen that "If being gay was the norm and being straight wasn't" video on YouTube? Well if you haven't go watch it before you read this story. I absolutely love that video and what it implies. The message it gets across is really strong, but it's also a really good idea for an AU. I mean... what if being gay WAS the "norm"? I decided that I wanted to write some one-shots for it featuring the Mystery Team. A world where Stan and Bella have to hide their relationship from the twins' parents instead of Fidds and Ford having to. So for this fic, everyone's sexualities are switched (AKA straight to gay, gay to straight) except for Fidds, Bella, Stan, and Ford. Stan and Ford have two dads, Dipper and Candy were just friends and it's Mabel and Candy that were dating, Dan's reason for not romantically liking Ford is the same as Wendy's for Dipper, Bella is ROMANTICALLY attracted to boys and not sexually attracted, ect. (Ford is still an ace child)

Ok so first things first. I believe that fiddleford and Ford were a thing in their youth and after weirdmeggedon they patched up their relationship, so that got me wondering. What would the story of reverse Fiddleford and Ford be? So that's what this story is. It starts off in college and progresses to when they're both old, I hope you enjoy.

Forgotten but still forgiven, Stanford Filbrick Pines feels as though Fiddleford's forgiveness was given too easily. Fiddleford helped save Ford from Bill yet Ford still had his doubts. Fiddleford McGucket and Stanford Pines get into a heated (one-sided) argument. Fiddleford cusses like a country boy because it's funny and I wanted to. Tags and description will change as I go along, I don't have a coherent idea for this story. Absolutely no plot, I just wanted to write something heartbreaking. Feel free to interpret it however you'd like, my favorite comment/interpretation will likely get written as a follow up chapter.
