Sophie's life is pretty hard. She lives alone with her two little siblings and her father. Her mother, the famous actor, left the house. Sophie is only 12-years old when suddenly everything she knows is starting to change. Max, her little brother, is suddenly sick with pancreatic cancer, and without her mother, her family suddenly doesn't have enough money to pay all the necessary bills. She needs to find a job, quickly, so that her brother will be okay. she gets involved in a singing competition, but, obviously not everything is going smoothly over there... And during that time, she fights the memories from the dark year of her life...
