It's 2004 and all anyone at Hogwarts can talk about is the Last Avery. Caspar Orpington is a Slytherin Second Year, young but powerful, and not just in magic. He has influence and enemies among all houses, a 'poster boy' for Slytherin. Isobel Avery is an orphan who spent 8 years hidden away under the Fidelius Charm, and with nothing to occupy her she began to teach herself magic from the books in the Avery Library. For her, Hogwarts is a daunting obligation, full of rules and people, two things she can barely remember ever dealing with. To Hogwarts, she's an anomaly, a mystery, and quickly proves to be a powerful new player. This Fanfic is set in JK Rowling's wonderful Wizarding World, which I do not own! It also features a wide cast of OC's and there are some familiar faces who you will recognise as the property of JKR, but that I had an awful lot of fun writing :)
