After his first episode, Landon promised himself he would never speak about what was wrong with him.
He didn't try to name it, the guilt, the fear, the inherent wrongness of the world. If he ignored it, then maybe it would go away. He resolved to keep to himself, stay quiet and try to measure up to his perfect twin brother Levi.
No one noticed him.
They didn't question the time he spent locked in the bathroom and no one noticed his shaking hands or the way he was slowly falling apart.
Wes, more commonly known as Chasey, lived a life full of noise. His family were warm and positive and embraced Levi as one of their own. Levi and Wes had become inseparable after years on the hockey field together. Landon was always in the background of their relationship, quiet, polite and easy to forget.
Until he wasn't anymore.
When Levi drags Landon to replace someone on the school hockey team, he doesn't have the option to hide anymore. Wes, who had long overlooked, Landon was now determined to unveil all of his secrets.
