Ihr Vater lebt in den USA der Stadt Kalifornien und schickt ihre Tochter nach Südkorea um einen Austausch zu machen was Mary sich auch wünschte. Als das siebzehn jährige Mädchen im Flughafen ankommt trifft sie ihre Cousine Kitty Lee nach einem Jahr wieder und wird mit ihr in ihrem Haus wohnen. Da Mary von der Geburt an keine Mutter hat arrangiert ihr Vater für sie ein Bodyguard damit Mary sich nicht selbst kümmern muss. Kitty Lee und Mary stehen sehr eng zueinander und sind wie Geschwister. Das Problem ist nur dass Mary ein Troublemaker ist da sie bemitleidene Menschen nicht ausstehen kann und immer ihnen helfen will. Dadurch dass sie Menschen hilft wird sie mit hineingezogen und kriegt selbst Probleme. Deswegen muss Kitty Lee ihr helfen sodass sie nicht in Schwierigkeiten gerät. Eines Tages sieht die Troublemakerin einen Jungen Soha der von einer Truppe geärgert wird und versucht ihn zu helfen. Schließlich lernen sie sich kennen und werden später beste Freunde was für Kitty Lee schlecht ist da sie es nicht tun soll.
