She later decides to go back to school in an attempt to live the remaining time she has left as a normal teenager. But of course, keeping her illness a secret. Then she meets Drew; a guy whom she has met once, but she never thought of meeting again. Before Alice has even realized it, she slowly and helplessly falls for him. From the moment she laid her eyes upon him, she has been feeling indescribable emotion towards him. But Drew has a secret of his own. Will Alice be able to find happiness again?

This story is the rough draft I wrote during the NaNoWriMo event. I ended up with 32,285 words by the end of November. This is just some of it. I don't know if I'm going to put it all up yet. Destine Kingsley has just been released from three years in prison for the murder of her little brother. She is thrust back into reality on one condition- that she graduates at the end of the year. If she doesn't graduate she'll be thrown back into prison for the rest of her life. As she tries to regain control of her life, she has many distractions. Some boys, tons of work, mean girls, and even a family secret. Destine will have to save her own life as well as the lives of the ones she loves. Let's just hope she's able to graduate and avoid being locked up. Will Destine finally be able to fly away?
