Never truly found "the one." Well, and how could she? Kitty is a workhorse, often working 7 nights a week, the majority of her paycheck going to care for her ailing mother. Now her mother's physical and mental health have deteriorated to where she can no longer live independently. After having to live paycheck to paycheck for most of her adult life, Kitty now has something called free time, but fears the best years are behind her. What to do? Both have noticed the other in passing. Sort of. And one, if not both, may have a tiny soft spot for the other but never acted upon it. Until now.
