This is the first book I've written so hopefully you like it. My name is Madison Diaz, and I work for the US Navy; specifically, the air division which is one of my favorite things about my life. The thrill of flying in those planes always leaves me breathless and wanting to continue no matter the circumstances. I grew up in a military family, my dad [Charlie] being a F-14 fighter pilot and my mom [Rose] being a Navy nurse making it pretty obvious how they met. My younger brother Connor is one of my favorite people, he has always encouraged me to do the thing I love, while my parents were always a little bit ify on letting me go into the service. I spent most of my life showing my parents that I am really good and they eventually saw how happy flying made me (as well as my brother helping quite a bit) they decided that they were fine with me continuing my career into being a fighter pilot. Getting into Top Gun was the joy of a lifetime. When I graduated I was even more thrilled with myself cause I was able to show my dad just how good I truly am and that they didn't need to worry about me. I made quite a few friends along the way as well that I've stayed in contact through the years with. Several years later she gets a call from her Admiral saying that she is needed back at Top Gun for a special mission. What happens when to friends who secretly have feelings for each other but haven't seen each other in a couple years see each other again? Will they be brave enough to tell each other about their feelings before the big mission? Read to find out what happens.
