Welcome to the flock, we are all birds here come to roost just be careful to watch the clock or you'll find your neck in a noose. It is the year 2216, it is very different than the year 2016 200 years earlier. Alaska and Hawaii have seceded from the U.S. to form new countries. The U.S. has become a tyranny. Much of Europe has returned to its wiled state and is a land scape of wreckage. There are many places that have become a dangerous radioactive mess. No country dares go against their word. Heroes have been forced into hiding, and the U.S is filled with government places that have questionable morals. Heroes of the past were sent to the labs, the ones who escaped look just as young as when they were captured. Homeless children are sent to the labs, most never come back. We are the flock; we are all birds who fight to fly or be free. We won't let them clip our wings. Some of us you may recognize from the old stories, we were once well known heroes. Others of us fight for revenge. Many of us had nowhere else to go, we were forced on the streets, forced to work, or worse going to be sent to the labs. A very small number of us are escapees from the labs, but they never got a chance to do much to us. All of the heroes of the past who joined us were sent there and escaped. They, along with a few others who didn't escape in time were given powers, or if they had some already they were enhanced. The one thing we all agree on, all birds deserve to fly be free, so this is rebellion! This is the story of a group of children and teens who fight for freedom. I do not own any characters from any existing show or book those rights go to their creators. This was inspired by 2BR02B and the Giver. And the book maximum ride. Raven was inspired by the book maximum ride and the ravens that stole 2 of my parents' lunches from our campsite at tappets creek on the north rim in the Grand Canyon.
