She was not supposed to be this easy to lose. He came home from eighteen months overseas to a city that had moved forward without him and a best friend who had promised herself to a man with a beautiful face and a controlled smile and something underneath it that Nicholas Kwon could not name but could not stop seeing. He said nothing. He waited. He watched from a distance while the distance grew into something he could no longer pretend was manageable, and by the time he found the words, there was a ring on her finger and the door was already closing. A dystopian government has been set in place. All adults, 25 and older, are killed off. They are killed because according to the government, once the pass that age, they cannot be brainwashed anymore, or at least not as easy and as such they do not want to waste extra materials. Children are collected and transported to the "Academy of Governmental expertise". A rebellion is formed, full of children not wanting to obey this dis justice. Alzena of course gets caught up in this "mess" with her three younger siblings. As she was being transported, her transportation truck was hijacked by the rebellion group and so she and her siblings join the rebellion. Now they must create a plan to take down the Government, will they be able to?

Others of us fight for revenge. Many of us had nowhere else to go, we were forced on the streets, forced to work, or worse going to be sent to the labs. A very small number of us are escapees from the labs, but they never got a chance to do much to us. All of the heroes of the past who joined us were sent there and escaped. They, along with a few others who didn't escape in time were given powers, or if they had some already they were enhanced. The one thing we all agree on, all birds deserve to fly be free, so this is rebellion! This is the story of a group of children and teens who fight for freedom.
