"This is not a story of a single country, but of the curse that has chased one family from Iran all the way to Pakistan-the curse known as inheritance."
In a powerful tribe in Iran, after the Sardar's death, respect for relationships vanished, and the 'War of the Canals' began among the step-sons-a war that thirsted not just for land, but for blood.
When the shadow of Farooq's parents lifted from his head, he decided to leave this horrifying war behind. Shattered, he left the soil of Iran and stepped into a new world in Pakistan. Here, he did not adopt the pride of a Sardar's son, but the hard labour of a worker, and built an empire of millions with his sweat and blood.
But fate had another cruel twist. After Farooq's passing, the same story he had spent his life running from began again. The greed of his own son, Shahzeb, was awakened. Shahzeb, conspiring with his own cousin (Farooq's half-brother's son) who was still in Iran, trampled upon his father's lifetime earnings, his dreams, and the rights of his other siblings, seizing the entire property.
Today, the family is fragmented, and that 'War of the Canals,' which was once in Iran, is now raging in Pakistan among the children of the same father.
The new generation (the protagonist) must now fight this war. Will she merely reclaim the property, or will she succeed in ending this curse forever and mending her grandfather's broken dreams?
Now, we shall see what the ultimate outcome of this inter-generational conflict will be.
