It's my first poem which resonates the essence of feelings I personally felt and realized. Eventhough it's personal I feel it is a universal thing. All our efforts and longings for someone to lean on while trying not to give up and fit in to the standards of many is infact us trying to fit in. This poem conveys the need of loving yourself instead of searching it in someone and lean on to you thus living upon the standards made by you,not others.
