Now years after the death and dishonor of her father she is called upon to help a certain group of dwarves on their quest to reclaim a homeland. Rayner is my name. I was taught how to fight by an old knife tosser and an acrobat. Not exactly conventional, but I do well enough. I joined the circus at age of 20, not many others would take in an half-dwarf, and as long as I earned my keep I could stay. I stayed on with them until I was near Bree, where I was approached by a wandering wizard and asked to join a quest. A quest to reclaim a homeland and slay a dragon. Emberly is the best friend of Fili and Kili. She grew up with them despite the obvious differences. For example, she's half human. These things don't bug her, at least in the start of this story. This story follows Emberly and her friends growing up from age seven for her and Fili. Kili is two at the start. I don't own the characters except for Emberly, her family, and Hromund and tanner. All credit for FIli, kili, thorin and Dis goes to Tolkien. As well as any of the creatures like wargs, orcs, smaug, and the dunidine.

Mila is a sometimes shy, timid half dwarf, but can be feisty, stubborn and brave. She finds herself joining Thorin's company to reclaim Erebor. Not knowing what lies ahead and finding romance 😉. (DISCLAIMER: The world and characters except for Mila belong to Tolkien!)
