Computer-generated imagery (CGI) has become essential in modern filmmaking, enabling the creation of fantastic worlds and breathtaking visuals that once existed only in our imaginations. But despite its dominance today, many believe that CGI will one day be seen in the same light as the foam sets and rubber monsters of classic cinema-charming, but outdated. In 20 years, will we look back and laugh at the idea that these digital creations looked "real" to us?

After the Secret Service raided his studio and destroyed his work, artist and numismatist J. S. G. Boggs' greatest fear became real, that "the public will never know exactly what it is that they consider to be illegal." When the U.S. invaded Iraq in 2003, the director's only tape copy of his documentary was destroyed by overzealous Chinese students in Beijing, simply because he was American. Fortunately, the entire transcript had already been completed -- and is now available for the public at large. J.S>

Filmmakers understand the audience's response better. By showing them emotionally dominating films enriched with brilliant and creative ideas, they know how to increase their adrenal function. The Deep Focus Film Festival tries to draw the best out of the filmmakers' creative minds. The great thing about the festival is that the entire event will be screened online to encourage anyone to watch the best selection of films and reward talented filmmakers during the festival. It is a perfect opportunity for filmmakers to gain fame through their creativity.

Welcome to Lisbrooke, California! Come here to enjoy our beautiful beaches and perfect weather (please drink a lot of fluids as there has been a recent incident of heat exhaustion). Don't forget to take a dip into our clear waters (swimming after hours is prohibited for your own safety) and enjoy a delicious cupcake afterwards from Lisbrooke's finest (and only) dessert shop on the pier (any food fights are punishable by Miss Rosalind's wrath). P.S! Beware of the cranky, award-winning director residing on Hallot's Drive. He can be... cranky. Danger! Caution: the football player living on the outskirts of town will cause severe heart palpitations and may cause a case of cardiac arrest. We recommend you take a visit in our sleepy sea-side town to relax and go onto one hell (our apologies, Mrs. Lowe)-heck of a ride! It's the ideal place to shoot your short film and make great friends. Just remember, you're only here for the summer. ~ cover made by @synonomous ~
