What if The Apple, did not just stay as an inanimate object? What if it grew a conscious of it's own? But it never interacted with anyone because it didn't like any of the people who kept poking and prodding it except for one person, Desmond. What if the Apple decided to save his life instead of allowing it's lunatic creator's decisions kill him in the Temple? The Apple sent him to a world that is different from Earth yet similar and also much more dangerous with a few gifts. Nathan Kazuki, a young merc who travels around and makes some profit from doing work time to time, after travelling around for a while, he decided to head home, his home under the plate of Sector 7, deciding to crash at an old friend's place to relax. However, during his stay there, he encounters Tifa, bar owner of Seventh Haven, decides to have someone else hire him to do a mission for a group called Avalanche to take down a few Mako Reactors, which confused the boy at first, but decides against it, thinking a job is a job, and he needs money anyway. He also meets a group of five people also working with them, though he feels ridiculed when they berate him sometimes, well one of them anyway. But what seemed like a simple job soon turns into something bigger than what Nathan could have ever imagined before in his life, something... that makes him question what's going on in this world.... And what lies ahead for him and everyone he cares about.
