This story follows Ben, a factory worker who accidentally discovers a hidden and highly dangerous invention-a time machine created by scientists but never tested. The machine has the power to send objects and people back in time, but it cannot safely return them to the present. One day after work, driven by curiosity, Ben sneaks into a restricted area and activates the machine by mistake. Instantly, he is transported one million years into the past. Everyone he knows-his family, friends, and all of modern civilization-disappears, leaving him completely alone in a primitive wilderness. With no way to return, Ben is forced to survive like an ancient human. He learns to make fire, hunt animals, and live in a cave. The time machine tells him that the only way to return to his original time is to wait-one million years. Remarkably, Ben survives through this unimaginable span of time. When the world finally returns to the present, he realizes the machine has forced him through the ultimate survival experience. Old and near death, Ben shares his story with the world, becoming famous as a legendary survivor before he dies.
